How we use
We use the data above to understand which Bet Mode pages are read, which search queries bring readers to us, and which devices and screen sizes we need to design for. This drives our editorial roadmap: pages that attract more questions get expanded; pages that no one reads get merged. The data is aggregated into weekly reports; we do not look at individual sessions and we have no way to connect a session to a real person.
If you leave a comment on a page — we currently do not offer comments, but we may enable them in future — the email address you provide will only be used to notify you of replies, and it will be deleted when you ask us to delete it.
Third parties
We use a single analytics provider that stores aggregated data on servers located inside the European Union. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, we do not share session data with social networks and we do not sell any data to third parties. Our affiliate links to Bet Mode pass only a referral identifier to the operator — not your personal data, which we do not have. The operator receives the identifier as a URL parameter the moment you click a link and uses it internally to attribute an eventual signup to this site. The identifier is random, is not tied to your email or your name, and is dropped after twelve months. If you want to prevent the operator from receiving the identifier, simply type the Bet Mode domain into the browser bar directly instead of following a link from our pages.
What we collect
This site collects a small amount of standard web analytics data from every visit: the page URL you landed on, the referring page or search engine, your approximate country based on the IP address, your device type and screen size, and the browser and operating system version. We do not collect your full IP address, your precise location, your name, your email, your date of birth or any payment information. We cannot — nothing on this site asks for that data in the first place.
Cookies brief
The site sets one first-party cookie that remembers whether you have seen the cookie banner, and one analytics cookie that lasts twenty-four hours. You can clear both cookies from your browser at any time and the site will keep working exactly as before. We do not store any data that would survive the clearing of these cookies.
